Taking care of your tattoo is as important as the tattoo itself.
I will give you detailed instructions right after the session. In general: keep the tattoo clean, use the recommended cream, and avoid sun, sauna, and swimming until it’s healed. Healing usually takes 1–2 weeks on the surface and up to 4–6 weeks for the skin to fully recover. If you notice irritation, contact me directly.
The surface usually heals in 1–2 weeks. Complete skin recovery can take 4–6 weeks.
Wash gently with lukewarm water and mild, fragrance-free soap. Pat dry with a paper towel,never rub.
Use only the ointment/cream I recommend. Apply a thin layer, not too much.
Avoid swimming, sauna, tanning beds, and direct sun until the tattoo is fully healed.
This is normal. Don’t scratch or pick. Let the skin peel naturally, this is part of healing.
